When it comes to picking makeup products to wear on a daily basis, I can be so fussy! I want products which really work, give beautiful results and make me feel great about my makeup! Quite often I will post images of new products but today I wanted to talk a bit about a handful of products which I have been loving for a while. These beauties really have become absolute staples in my makeup routine and I don't know where I would be without them!
Morphe Brushes M523 Tapered Powder Brush £15
If you wear bronzer or contour shades, you need this brush! This has to be my most reached for brush in my makeup collection and its always the first one I pack when I'm going away. I honestly couldn't live without this little beauty! The stiff bristles make applying contour and bronzer so quick, smooth and easy! Before I discovered this brush, my bronzer would always go on patchy and it would drive me nuts! Nothing is worse than finishing off a makeup look with patchy bronzer...
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade (Blonde) £15
For those of you that know me, you know that I touch my face a lot through out the day. Its definitely a nervous thing I have developed as I have gotten older, but it often means I will mess up my brows without even realising. Luckily, I discovered the Anastasia Dipbrow a year or so ago and have never looked back! I love the colour and consistency of the product, but what I love most is how resistant it is. It really is smudge and water proof! Its the one brow product I know I can rely on not to move, even when iv spent an hour or so sweating at the gym.
Colourpop Super Shock Shadow (Weenie) $5
Colourpop is actually a brand that's quite new to me. Its one I've heard a lot about but never really had the chance to try until recently. One of Colourpops standout items for me is their Super Shock Shadows. I love that they are in individual little cases, so it means I can chuck it in my makeup bag for touch ups through out the day. Something which I think is a novelty at the moment whilst the beauty market is being flooded with bulky eyeshadow palettes. The range of colours, textures and price point are also all fab! The shade I have pictured here is 'Weenie', a beautiful pink toned copper shade. Perfect for everyday!
Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara £25
People always ask me what mascara I use and the answer is always this one! It is literally the most incredible mascara ever! Its definitely a high end makeup product but is worth every penny. Its amazing for building up mascara and making your lashes look super long! I also love it because its quite thick, so gives you lots of volume. The only downside is that its not smudge or water proof at all. In fact, its horrendous for smudging if it even comes into contact with a little bit of water. But if you have normal to dry skin like me, then I think this is definitely worth a try! You will not be disappointed!
Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick (Kim KW) £25
This is my all time favourite lipstick ever! Its the perfect light pinky nude shade, such a beautiful colour for everyday or special occasions. Its texture is really creamy and comfortable on the lips, whilst still having incredible colour payoff. Because the colour is so light, my favourite way to wear it is on top of a lip liner. Its one of those products which I just enjoy using and no other pale pink lipstick has come close to this one! I also love the packaging! Its so refreshing to find products which look beautiful on the outside but also work amazingly!
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow (Light - Medium) £49
When you have fair skin, finding a good bronzer can be so difficult! Most of the time they are just too dark or orange. However, the Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette by Charlotte Tilbury is literally the answer to all my prayers! Its slightly more cool-toned than most bronzers, which makes it so much more complementary on fairer skin tones. The texture is also really fine making application really smooth and easy. Again, this is another really high end product which is definitely reflected in the price... but if your looking for a decent bronzer for fair skin, this really is one of the best!
