After falling in love with the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, I wasn't sure another palette would ever come close! That was until I got my hands on this beautiful work of art... It is honestly, every bit as good as all the incredible reviews you have probably read or watched all over the internet. I love how the entire vibe of this palette really incorporates the orange and pink tones which have been so on-trend this year. I think its really one of those palettes that can take you from the summer and into the autumn, the colours are so versatile! One of my favourite aspects of the palette is that the majority of the shades are matte, with a couple of stunning shimmers. Its really one of those palettes which I can take with me and I know I have every shade I need! The palette can take you from simple day time makeup to sultry evening glam!
In terms of texture, the eyeshadows are all really soft and extremely blendable. One of the things I would say to be aware of though, is that because its so highly pigmented, it is quite powdery and can have a lot of fall out. Putting that aside, I think the pro's definitely outweigh the con's on this one! To me, it really is just a great all rounder! I bought my Modern Renaissance palette off the Cult Beauty Website for £41. So, yes... it is a bit more pricey but extremely worth it!
