Gerard Cosmetics | Fire Engine and Buttercup

Gerard cosmetics are a brand I have been ogling over for such a long time now! After seeing review, after review I decided I would finally purchase two of my favourite colours; Buttercup and Fire Engine. I have read a lot of reviews about these lipsticks... and a great deal of them have been negative. So, I did'nt really have very high hopes for them. Having said that... I have been completely surprised at how much I love them! They do have quite a dry finish, so if you have slightly dry lips they may not be for you. However, this dryer finish means that Fire Engine is one of the few reds which doesn't actually move around on my lips. Which is amazing! Like the packaging says its a typical fire engine red colour, which is beautiful. On the other hand, Buttercup is a soft pink with a blue undertone. A very typical 'everyday' colour for me... which I also love! Although, if I was going to pick one favourite it would definitely be Fire Engine. Something about it just seems so different to other red shades I've tried!  Overall, yer, I really like them. I don't think the finish is going to be for everyone though... but they are definitely worth a try! Let me know if you have tried any of the Gerard Cosmetics products. Do you think they are any good?
